ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESxc2xa7 Provides well adult/preventive care, acute care, management of contraception, management of gynecologic problems, management of chronic conditions, interpretation of diagnostic tests, and follow-up for patients in the adult clinic.xc2xa7 Provides well child care, acute care and follow-up for patients in the Pediatric Clinic.xc2xa7 Participates in quality assurance assessments periodically (including abnormal pap management and mammography follow up)xc2xa7 Reviews laboratory results, consultant examinations, and emergency room discharges with follow-up on those requiring intervention.xc2xa7 Supervises the dispensing of medication from the womenxe2x80x99s and pediatric clinicsxc2xa7 Consults with nurses and other staff members on handling triage calls or walk-ins.xc2xa7 Participates in specific programs of the clinic as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.xc2xa7 Participates in the on-call rotation for the clinic with other providers.xc2xa7 Assists in education of patients, residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, PAxe2x80x99s and other staff.xc2xa7 Participates as needed to ensure compliance for IWS funding and grant requirements.xc2xa7 Appropriately documents all findings in a correct, timely and concise manner. Uses all forms correctly. Entries dated and signed.
