Locum Primary Care Physician

DocStar Medical Partners is looking for a Primary Care Physician for a long term assignment 3-6 months + all expenses covered Range listed is a starting range dependent on the provider’s experience and skillset – can be negotiable Facility Type:FQHC Provider Profession Needed:MD Specialty:Primary Care Start Date:June 3, 2024 or mid-June End Date:December 2024 Length of Assignment:6 months – will take someone willing to commit to 3 months only as well Credentialing Timeframe:1 month Work Schedule:Clinic is open 8AM – 5 PM.Medical Director will be doing 3 days/week of patient contact hours, only 24 hours/week. They can break down these hours however they want.They will also be doing 2 days/week of administrative work – 16 hours/week of the administrative work. Patient Volume:Clinic is open 8AM – 5 PM. Last calendar year they saw around 2,600 patients/year. There is a large homeless population. They have 2 NPs right now, and 1 PA.Patients are all adults and population is a homeless population.Some patients will have behavioral health issues, but the patient contact hours will be primary care wellness visits, medication management, chart reviews.Medical Director will oversee the NPs and the PA there as well.Administrative work to include: Standing Orders Peer/Chart Reviews CLIA Waiver Procedures:No procedures. EMR:Athena License Needed:NH license Certifications Needed:BC Family Medicine of BCIM Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed:Medical Director experienceMAT certified is a preference, but will not disqualify them.
